SALES PROFESSIONAL METRO DC TEAM

We are immediately hiring an experienced territory SALES PROFESSIONAL industry to drive business growth across throughout METRO DC MARYLAND AND NORTHERN VIRGINIA with a home base location of WASHINGTON DC or MARYLAND. If youre passionate about flooring or tiling installation systems and have a customer-first solution driven mindset we want to hear from you.

Daily territory travel including some overnight.

This is a field sales position with daily territory travel including some overnight. Compensation: $80-$120k (base commission bonus).

Responsibilities:

• Drive Sales Growth of ARDEX and Henry products
• Generate Leads and win new business opportunities
• Promote Products through hands-on demonstrations presentations and professional displays
• Build Relationships with partner distributors specialist flooring/tiling contractors general contractors architects and key business influencers.
• Field Service & Support including job start assistance bid preparation and distributor/installer training
• Technical Expertise and technical recommendations liaising with our technical team for resources and solutions
• Achieve Targets and exceed goals
• Collaborate with corporate resources (Technical Customer Service Marketing Logistics) to deliver exceptional service to ARDEX customers
• Exceptional Standards - represent ARDEX as the industry leader for exemplary professional standards and a customer first app

Territory: Consisting of the State of Maryland District of Columbia Delaware - South of the Chesapeake and Delaware Canal and Metro-Washington counties in the Commonwealth of Virginia to include - Arlington Fairfax Prince William Stafford Louden and Fauquier.

Experience and Skills:

What youll bring to ARDEX

• Minimum 5 years outside sales experience is essential. Knowledge of flooring or tiling installation systems is required.
• Technical proficiency and familiar with architectural specifications and construction design elements is essential.
• High levels of business integrity ethics and good professional judgement
• High level of energy and enthusiasm for the industry. Solution driven and customer focused
• Must be able to conduct product presentations and demonstrations confidently and professionally
• Must possess a valid drivers license and a clean driving record. Must be able to travel daily throughout assigned territory including some overnight.
• Able to operate non power and power tools. Good mechanical or hands-on skills to meet the needs of intensive and physically demanding field support and service
• Able to lift to 70 pounds on occasion with a carrying capability of 55 pounds.
• Four (4) year college degree is preferred or minimum completed high school diploma with relevant industry work experience.
