Site Business OR Functional Area Overview
This role is based at GE Aerospaces Lynn MA (GET) site a critical location supporting defense programs and advanced manufacturing. The Facility Security Officer partners closely with the Industrial Security Operations team site leadership and cross-functional stakeholders to ensure a secure and compliant operating environment for employees contractors visitors and suppliers.

Role Overview
The Facility Security Officer (FSO) is responsible for administering and overseeing the sites government security program in accordance with 32 CFR Part 117 (NISPOM). As the resident industrial security expert you will develop implement and continuously improve security processes and procedures serve as the primary interface with the Defense Counterintelligence and Security Agency (DCSA) and ensure compliance with customer and regulatory requirements across programs and facilities.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage all aspects of theNational Industrial Security Program (NISP)in compliance with 32 CFR Part 117 internal policies and contractual requirements
• Serve as the primary point of contact forDCSAreviews and correspondence; prepare for and participate in DCSA Security Reviews
• Investigate National Security program-specific incidents impacting cleared personnel accredited facilities and/or information systems; drive corrective actions and report as required
• Develop implement and maintain security processes procedures and training to ensure a secure and compliant workplace for employees contractors visitors and suppliers
• Maintain and oversee secure areas in accordance withICD 705standards partnering with facilities IT and program teams
• Utilize and maintain government systems includingNISS DISS and NBIS ensuring accurate timely and compliant records and transactions
• Build strong external partnerships and internal stakeholder relationships to incorporate best practices and influence emerging policy
• Provide guidance on Personnel Security Information Assurance andCOMSEC ensuring alignment to regulatory and customer expectations

Required Qualifications

• Bachelors degree from an accredited university or college; OR associate degree with 4 years of military experience; OR high school diploma/GED with 8 years of military experience
• Minimum 5 years of Industrial Security experience preferably as a Facility Security Officer
• Working knowledge of32 CFR Part 117 (NISPOM Rule)
• Hands-on experience developing and maintaining secure areas in accordance withICD 705standards
• Working knowledge ofNISS DISS NBIS and other government applications
• Familiarity with Personnel Security Information Assurance andCOMSEC
• Must possess an activeTop Secretsecurity clearance

Project Management: The ability to plan execute and oversee security projects ensuring they are completed on time and within budget.

Additional Information:

The base pay range for this position is $112700.00 - 149500.00 Annual The specific pay offered may be influenced by a variety of factors including the candidates experience education and skill set. This position is also eligible for an annual discretionary bonus based on a percentage of your base salary/ commission based on the plan. This posting is expected to close on December 27th 2025.
