Contract Duration: 13 Weeks
Pay Rate: $76.33 $79.33/hour
Position Overview
Navitas Healthcare LLC is seeking an experienced Medical/Surgical Telemetry Registered Nurse to join a fast-paced float team. This role is responsible for coordinating comprehensive nursing care collaborating with interdisciplinary teams and providing patient and family education while maintaining high professional and clinical standards.
Key Requirements
Active Massachusetts RN License
2 years of Med/Surg Telemetry RN experience
Travel nursing experience preferred
Strong IV and phlebotomy skills (must perform independently)
BLS Certification (required)
Completion of:
Medical/Surgical IV Medication Module
Basic Arrhythmia Exam
Primary Responsibilities
Deliver patient-centered care using the nursing process
Monitor and manage patients on telemetry
Safely administer medications including cardiac medications
Manage IV therapy chest drainage devices epidural analgesia and post-op care
Provide care for orthopedic medical and terminally ill patients
Accurately document care using Electronic Medical Records (EMR)
Respond effectively to emergency and urgent situations
Educate patients and families and respect advance directives
Ensure compliance with hospital policies standards of care and regulatory requirements
Education & Certification
Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
Current RN licensure in Massachusetts
Active BLS certification required
