Janitor / Custodial Staff (Part-Time)
Location: NIS Headquarters
Nationwide IT Services (NIS) is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Janitor for a part-time position at our headquarters. This role is responsible for maintaining a clean safe and professional work environment for employees and visitors.
Hours: 5 pm to 9 pm Monday through Friday.

Nationwide IT Services (NIS) is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Janitor for a part-time position at our headquarters. This role is responsible for maintaining a clean safe and professional work environment for employees and visitors.
Hours: 5 pm to 9 pm Monday through Friday.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Perform general cleaning throughout the facility including offices common areas and restrooms
- Sweep mop scrub and vacuum floors and carpets
- Dust clean and polish furniture fixtures blinds and surfaces
- Clean and sanitize restrooms; restock paper products and supplies
- Clean mirrors windows doors countertops and tabletops
- Collect remove and properly dispose of trash and recycling
- Disinfect frequently touched surfaces to maintain health and safety standards
- Maintain janitorial equipment and ensure storage areas remain clean and organized
- Monitor cleaning supply levels and notify management when replenishment is needed
- Identify and report unsafe conditions needed repairs or maintenance issues
- Follow established safety procedures and properly handle cleaning chemicals
- Perform other related duties as assigned
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Strong time management and organizational skills
- Attention to detail and a professional demeanor
- Ability to follow schedules instructions and safety/security procedures
- Ability to operate basic cleaning equipment
Preferred Qualifications:
- Prior janitorial or custodial experience
Requirements:
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Ability to successfully pass a background check
- US Citizen
Physical Requirements:
- Must be able to lift carry push or pull up to 50 lbs.
- Ability to climb balance stoop kneel reach and handle equipment to clean various areas including high and low spaces.
