Reliability Equipment Specialist

YOUR ROLE:  The bullet points below reflect roughly 80% of your job. We are a fast-paced company you may be pulled in a variety of different direction with tasks added or changed.

• Interact with production engineering Environmental Health and Safety and other elements of the maintenance department
• Focused equipment expert
• Report measurable effectiveness of maintenance strategies
• Troubleshoot electrical and mechanical issues
• Utilize CMMS/MES systems to collect and analyze data improving:
  • Availability
  • Mean time between failure
  • Mean time to repair
• Provides input/priority into maintenance work planning and scheduling
• Audit maintenance tasks and procedures
• Project management
  • Working with contractors
  • Asset identification and prioritization
  • Maintenance task analysis/Risk assessment
  • Communication between cross functional teams
• Spare parts identification min/max levels
• Train plant associates on CMMS
• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications :

 BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:  

• High School Graduate/HSE or equivalent manufacturing experience
• Excellent written and verbal communication as well as interpersonal skills
• Manage ambiguity while working through stressful situations
• Positive attitude and a willingness to work with others

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:   

• 2-year technical degree or equivalent experience in reliability-based maintenance strategies a plus
•  Previous Reliability Process facilitation experience a plus
• Certified Maintenance & Reliability Professional (CMRP) status a plus
• Experience in a manufacturing environment
• Strong Microsoft office suite skills (Word Excel & Power Point)
• Ability to work in a cross functional team environment
• Ability to drive change
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Practicing knowledge of CMMS software
