About the role
Jobylon is growing fast in the Benelux region with increasing enterprise demand and technically complex sales processes. We are now hiring our first Solutions Engineer to own the technical side of enterprise deals and implementations working closely with Sales Customer Success Partnerships and Engineering.
This is a senior individual contributor role with clear potential to grow into a scaled Solutions function over time. Youll have the autonomy to define how we approach technical sales - and the responsibility to make it work.
You will act as the technical authority across sales cycles RFPs security reviews and implementations increasing deal velocity and win rates while enabling engineering to focus on product and scale.
What you will do
- Lead the technical parts of enterprise sales cycles together with AEs
- Own all technical RFP sections security questionnaires and compliance responses
- Validate feasibility of customer requirements before involving Engineering
- Design and document customer setups for clean handovers to CS and Engineering
- Build and maintain standard integration playbooks for HRIS SSO BI and third-party systems
- Work closely with Head of Partnerships to support partners utilising our Partner API and integrations - reviewing API usage data flows and authentication
- Track technical deal blockers and drive resolution with Engineering
- Create tailored demo environments and enterprise-grade demo flows
- Train Sales and CS so most technical questions can be handled without escalation
- Improve internal documentation and customer-facing technical knowledge
- Feed recurring enterprise patterns and gaps back to Product
