Are you a creative learning professional with a passion for designing impactful digital experiences St Vincents (SVHA) is seeking expressions of interest for a Capability & Learning Instructional Designer to join our People & Culture team.
Founded in 1857 St Vincents is a non-profit health organisation dedicated to providing exceptional and compassionate care across public and private hospitals aged care residences and home care. As we work toward our One St Vincents vision we need an innovative designer to help build the capabilities of our 30000-strong workforce.
About the role:
Reporting to the Head of Capability and Learning you will be the driving force behind our online learning strategy. Your work will directly support St Vincents strategic goals by developing high-quality digital content that ensures our staff are compliant skilled and empowered.
Key responsibilities include:
End-to-End Design: Designing and developing interactive online courses for orientation compliance leadership and data literacy using tools like Articulate Rise and Canva.
LMS Management: Maintaining and optimising content across two key platforms: Workday Learning and My Health Learning.
Stakeholder Collaboration: Partnering with clinical educators Digital & Technology teams and divisional heads to conduct needs analyses and identify learning solutions.
Quality & Evaluation: Using data analytics and user feedback to continuously improve program efficacy and learner engagement.
Multimedia Creation: Developing short courses micro-learns instructional videos and digital frameworks.
About you:
We are looking for a collaborative professional who thrives in complex regulated environments and possesses:
Experience: 5 years of demonstrated experience in instructional design (healthcare or regulated industry experience is highly regarded).
Technical Savvy: Proficiency in Articulate 360 Adobe Captivate and multimedia production.
Educational Foundation: A Bachelors degree in Instructional Design Education Learning and Development or a related field.
Adult Learning Expertise: A deep understanding of adult learning principles accessibility standards and diversity and inclusion considerations.
Project Management Skills: The ability to manage multiple concurrent projects from inception to completion within scope and budget.
