POSITION: Warehouse Maintenance/Repack Full Time (Union)

REPORTS TO: Warehouse Manager

Work Days: Monday Friday

Work Hours: 5:00 am 1:30pm

GENERAL SCOPE:

Opportunity to use pride passion focus attention to detail and a desire for cleanliness to maintain warehouse cleanliness and overall facility maintenance by following strict guidelines to meet and maintain Olympic Eagle Distributing standards and requirements. Full-time position. Enjoys working as part of a team to maintain an orderly clean and obstructive free facility.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

Performs work according to standard procedure and operational schedule.

Keep warehouse and facility (floors walls ceilings windows and doors) clean maintained painted and organized.

Keep general grounds (parking lot drive/walkways break areas flower beds) clean maintained and picked up.

Keep facility equipment (lift trucks floor scrubber batteries etc.) clean maintained and operational.

Performs monthly and weekly inspections and checks for facility equipment (fire extinguishers eye wash stations hoist etc.)

Makes minor carpentry electrical mechanical and plumbing repairs.

Communicates challenges issues and completed tasks with Warehouse Manager.

Execute safety requirements and policies including but not limited to wearing safety gloves obtaining and maintaining forklift certification and following safety measures when using all machinery including hot glue guns.

Repack damaged cases in properly identified packaging including but not limited to cleaning out broken glass and damaged aluminum and rinsing off bottles and cans with water.

Know and have a complete understanding of Olympic Eagle and supplier repack policies and procedures.

Execute Olympic Eagle and supplier repack policies and procedures.

Know and understand code dating and freshness policies of all Olympic Eagle products.

Keep repack area clean and organized according to Olympic Eagle standards at all times.

KNOWLEDGE SKILLS & ABILITIES:

• High School Diploma
• To complete and attain in house Forklift Certification

PREFERED KNOWLEDGE SKILLS & ABILITIES:

• Basic carpentry electrical mechanical and plumbing repairs

WORKING CONDITIONS:

• Warehouse setting can be cold damp and or warm.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

While performing the duties of this job the employee is regularly required to stand walk reach with hands and arms twist bend and occasionally stoop and squat. This position requires the extensive use of hands and arms to drive floor scrubber drive lift trucks use power and hand tools while be able to pick up bottles cans and cases on a regular basis. Specific vision abilities include close peripheral depth perception and the ability to adjust focus.
