Description
Shining Stars Therapy is seeking a pediatric OT with experience in feeding therapy who is motivated committed and a team player.
Applicants should possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills a love for children and their families a desire to learn and grow and a positive attitude. We are seeking a full-time therapist with availability in the afternoon and early evenings as we have many clients who want to be seen after school. This is an hourly position for part-time availability.
Shining Stars Therapy is a growing interdisciplinary clinic located in Fuquay-Varina easily accessible to over 5 surrounding counties. Our beautiful clinic equipped with a large sensory and therapeutic gym gross motor gym smaller gyms and individual treatment rooms provides an ideal space to work with your clients and be part of a larger team setting.
Shining Stars Therapy is a therapist owned practice. We are recognized as content leaders in our community with a strong interest and ability to assist those families with complex pediatric developmental neurological and orthopedic conditions.
Requirements
Graduate from an accredited Occupational Therapy program
NC State OT licensure active or pending
Experience in the medical model of feeding
Training in oral and sensory motor techniques for feeding therapy
Be available part time during Monday-Thursday 8:00 am-6:00 pm and Friday 8:00 am-12:00 pm
Flexible team-oriented and driven individual interested in professional and personal growth
Minimum of 1 year pediatric experience
