US: Hiring Range in USD from: $79200 to $178100 per annum. May be eligible for bonus and equity.
Oracle maintains broad salary ranges for its roles in order to account for variations in knowledge skills experience market conditions and locations as well as reflect Oracles differing products industries and lines of business.
Candidates are typically placed into the range based on the preceding factors as well as internal peer equity.

The role will generally accept applications for at least three calendar days from the posting date or as long as the job remains posted.
- Collaborate with experienced engineers to design implement and optimize core systems components for the Network OS supporting OCIs switch infrastructure.
- Contribute to high-performance reliable and scalable systems through well-designed software and well-reasoned algorithms.
- Apply expertise in data structures system architecture resource management concurrency and fault tolerance to real-world software problems.
- Write efficient maintainable code in systems-level languages such as C C Rust or Go.
- Participate in code reviews architecture discussions and team problem-solving sessions.
- Troubleshoot complex system-level issues identify root causes and help drive robust solutions in production environments.
- Proactively learn and onboard new technologies including relevant areas of network engineering as needed.
- Support operational excellence by automating workflows improving testing infrastructure and contributing to monitoring and observability initiatives.
Responsibilities
- Bachelors or masters degree in computer science Electrical Engineering or a related technical field (or equivalent practical experience).
- 35 years of experience developing systems software OS internals or large-scale distributed applications.
- Strong foundation in data structures algorithms operating system concepts and performance analysis.
- Proficiency in at least one systems programming language such as Java C C Rust or Go.
- Demonstrated ability to learn complex technical domains quickly and apply rigorous reasoning to new problem spaces.
- Experience with networking technologies (such as TCP/IP switching routing) preferred.
- Strong collaboration communication and team-oriented mindset.
