The Opportunity & Role Profile
A leading Independent School in Bath seeks a meticulous Science Technician specialising in Chemistry. You will support the Chemistry faculty in delivering a rigorous practical curriculum ensuring all reagents and equipment are prepared to the highest standard for GCSE and A-Level students.
Core Responsibilities & Duties Scope
Chemical Preparation: Preparing standard solutions titrations and organic chemistry apparatus for advanced practical lessons.
Waste Management: Ensuring safe disposal of chemical waste and maintaining the hazardous substance register in line with COSHH regulations.
Instructional Support: Assisting teaching staff during practical demonstrations and ensuring a safe laboratory environment for all pupils.

Essential Requirements: Strong scientific background (Degree or equivalent) and prior experience in a school Chemistry laboratory.
