About this role

As part of our Information Technology team you will working alongside passionate and innovative professionals to ensure our customers achieve their goals.

The System Owner - Clinical Systems will serve as the primary system owner and strategic leader for the eClinical technology ecosystem encompassing clinical trial execution data collection and operational oversight platforms. The position is accountable for overall system stability governance and evolution across multiple eClinical solutions and their integrations. Acting as a bridge between business IT and customer-facing teams the role drives the eClinical roadmap ensures alignment with clinical operations and supports commercial activities by representing eClinical capabilities in customer engagements and bid defenses.

Key Responsibilities:

• Own the full lifecycle of the eClinical systems portfolio including roadmap development system enhancements release planning configuration management and long-term strategy.

• Lead cross-system governance across core eClinical platforms (e.g. CTMS eTMF EDC RTSM Site Connectivity and related integrations).

• Define and implement clear ownership governance and accountability models for system integrations connectors and data pipelines across the eClinical landscape.

• Partner with business stakeholders to translate clinical and operational needs into well-defined functional and technical requirements.

• Oversee testing strategies validation documentation and change control processes to ensure compliance with GxP and internal quality standards.

• Serve as the primary escalation point for critical system issues recurring defects and high-impact incidents across the eClinical ecosystem.

• Provide leadership direction and mentorship to Business Administrators Business Analysts and hybrid functional roles supporting eClinical platforms.

• Collaborate with global teams to harmonize data standards workflows reporting and governance models across clinical systems.

• Engage directly with customers as a subject-matter expert to explain eClinical system capabilities participate in sales pursuits and support bid defenses.

• Partner closely with commercial and customer-facing teams to provide technical and functional input and ensure eClinical alignment within proposals and solution designs.

Qualifications:

• 8 years of experience as an eClinical system owner administrator or functional lead across multiple clinical platforms.

• Strong understanding of the end-to-end clinical trial lifecycle and associated operational processes.

• Proven experience managing system integrations cross-platform dependencies and complex vendor ecosystems.

• Solid knowledge of validation and compliance requirements for GxP-regulated systems.

• Demonstrated ability to influence stakeholders drive alignment and lead governance in global cross-functional environments.

• Excellent communication skills with the ability to confidently engage in customer discussions presentations and bid defences.

• Proven work record with Veeva vault system either in a administrator role SME role or ownership role
