Tasks

Build and evolve backend systems and APIs in Django
Own architecture decisions: scalability reliability maintainability
Implement and refine CI/CD pipelines and deployment workflows
Apply clean code practices design patterns and strong system design principles. Refactor major parts of the codebase for better long-term maintainability using modern tools such as Claude Code
Collaborate on frontend work in React (feature work integration performance DX)
Use and improve AI-assisted development workflows (e.g. faster iteration better quality automation)

Requirements

Strong experience in full-stack development with a backend focus
Solid knowledge of architecture design patterns and clean-code practices
Hands-on experience with CI/CD (build pipelines testing deployments release processes)
Heavy testing and QA practices
Comfort working across the stack: React Django
Familiarity with modern development workflows and tooling including AI-assisted development
Bonus: exposure to (or curiosity for) Go and/or Rust as we expand parts of the system
