Job Summary

Minimum Experience: 1 year; 1st Timers are accepted Patient Population: Infants to Geriatrics (Primarily Adult RRT but will work with Pediatric intubated patients) Certifications Required: BLS ACLS PALS GA RRT License General Skills and Work Setting Requirements: Midtown is a level 2 trauma center interventional stroke certified as well as a level 3 NICU. Our NICU is also the regional transport resource. Manages non invasive ventilation conventional ventilation aerosol therapy bedside pulmonary function tests performs arterial lines oxygen management patient education performs arterial blood gases capillary blood gases draws from lines. Trauma experience required Pulmonary function testing (Spirometry testing) preferred Ratio / Census: Not specified Unit Systems: Epic Pyxis SBAR Viasys Vela GE Carescape Viaysis Avea Scrub Color: Slate Gray RTO: MAX 7 days Weekends: Every other weekend unless specified elsewhere Floating: Yes within facility and sister campus as needed (Piedmont Columbus Northside) Call Requirements: None Holidays: If one major holiday falls in his/her assignment period the traveler is expected to work it. If two major holidays fall in his/her assignment period the traveler is expected to work both of the holidays. If three major holidays fall in his/her assignment period the traveler is expected to work two of the holidays.
