Job Summary

Senior Salesforce Developer

Location: New York NY (Hybrid 3 days onsite 2 days remote)

Position Description:

We are seeking an experienced Senior Salesforce Developer to join a high-performing Production Support and Development team within a large enterprise environment. This role focuses on supporting day-to-day Salesforce administration and enhancement requests while also designing developing and deploying scalable secure Salesforce solutions that align with evolving business needs.

The ideal candidate brings deep technical expertise across the Salesforce platform strong problem-solving skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with business stakeholders architects and cross-functional technology teams. This role also offers opportunities to contribute to architecture discussions mentor junior developers and drive best practices across the Salesforce ecosystem.

Key Responsibilities:

Salesforce Development & Customization

Design develop and implement Salesforce solutions using Apex Visualforce Lightning Web Components (LWC) and Flows
Support production environments by resolving administrative and enhancement tickets efficiently
Translate business requirements into scalable maintainable Salesforce solutions

Architecture & Solution Design

Participate in technical architecture discussions and conduct code reviews
Collaborate with functional teams to determine declarative vs. programmatic solutions
Evaluate and leverage AppExchange products where appropriate
Ensure solutions meet security performance and scalability standards

Integrations & Data Management

Develop and maintain integrations using REST and SOAP APIs
Support data migrations and system integrations using Salesforce APIs and related tools

DevOps Testing & Deployment

Manage the full Salesforce development lifecycle including development testing deployment and documentation
Utilize Salesforce DevOps tools such as Git and Copado
Support CI/CD pipelines and automated deployment practices

Collaboration & Leadership

Partner with business and technical stakeholders to ensure solution alignment
Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior developers
Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies and collaborate within Agile delivery teams

Required Skills / Education:

Bachelors degree in Computer Science Information Technology or a related field
6 years of hands-on Salesforce development experience
Strong expertise in Apex Visualforce Lightning (LWC) APIs and data migrations
Experience with Salesforce DevOps tools such as Git and Copado
Salesforce Platform Developer I certification (required)
Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments
Excellent communication and collaboration skills

Preferred Qualifications:

Salesforce Platform Developer II or additional Salesforce certifications
Experience with Service Cloud or Energy & Utilities Cloud
Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and automated testing frameworks
Experience with data migration and integration tools such as Data Loader or MuleSoft
Prior experience supporting Salesforce solutions in a production support environment
