Job Summary
specifically we are seeking a business intelligence (BI) specialist who designs and maintains data-driven solutions using the WebFocus platform. Their role centres on transforming raw enterprise data into actionable insights through interactive dashboards pixel-perfect reports and automated data delivery.
Key Responsibilities
- BI Solution Design : Building interactive dashboards and data visualizations using tools like WebFocus.
- Data Integration : Writing complex SQL queries to extract and transform data from diverse RDBMS sources such as Oracle SQL Server and Snowflake.
- Report Automation : Configuring Report Caster for automated report scheduling and distribution across organizations.
- Metadata Management : Creating and maintaining Master Files and Access Files (synonyms) to map data sources for the WebFocus reporting engine.
- Performance Optimization : Tuning existing reports and SQL queries to ensure high speed and reliability.
Core Skills
- Primary Toolset: Proficiency in WebFocus App Studio Designer Info Assist and the WebFocus Reporting Server.
- Database Expertise: Advanced SQL skills and an understanding of data warehousing concepts like star and snowflake schemas.
