Bilingual Customer Service Representative Disability Insurance

What is in it for you:
Hourly salary of $22-24 based on experience.
12-month contract with the potential for permanent employment.
Full-time position: 37.50 hours per week.
Weekday schedule: rotational shifts between 8:00 am. and 8:00 pm.
Working hours align with Eastern Standard Time (EST).
Responsibilities:
Provide prompt accurate and professional responses to internal and external client inquiries via phone and/or email.
Communicate effectively with plan members and sponsors in a calm and solution-oriented manner.
Navigate and retrieve information from various internal systems to resolve inquiries.
Conduct research and resolve client issues within specified timelines.
Maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information appropriately.
Assist clients with online claims submissions including password resets and troubleshooting ID issues.
What you will need to succeed:
Post-secondary education is an asset.
Bilingual fluency in English and French to support clients in both languages.
1 year of experience in a customer service or clerical/administrative role.
Proficient computer and keyboarding skills.
Excellent attention to detail and organizational abilities.
Adaptable and comfortable in a high-volume fast-paced environment.
Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines effectively.
Strong interpersonal skills and a collaborative team-oriented mindset.
Customer-focused with a solutions-driven approach.
Familiarity with Microsoft Teams for virtual collaboration.
Knowledge of medical terminology is an asset.
