Job Summary

We are seeking a Business Development professional with 7-10 years of experience in the carbon and climate consulting domain. The role involves driving new business opportunities managing client relationships and supporting end-to-end sales across carbon market services.


Key Responsibilities

    Identify and develop business opportunities in carbon markets and climate advisory services.

    Engage with project owners corporates and renewable energy developers.

    Manage the sales lifecycle including lead generation proposal preparation negotiations and closures.

    Coordinate with internal technical and operations teams for accurate proposals and delivery.

    Act as a primary point of contact for assigned clients and ensure regular follow-ups.

    Track market trends registry updates and regulatory developments.

    Maintain CRM records sales pipeline and periodic reporting.



Requirements

Skills & Knowledge

    Strong understanding of carbon markets (VCS GS CDM IRECs GCC etc.).

    Knowledge of carbon project lifecycle: registration verification issuance and trading.

    B2B sales and consulting experience with strong commercial orientation.

    Excellent communication presentation and negotiation skills.

    Proficiency in MS Office (Excel PowerPoint Word) and CRM tools.

    Self-driven target-oriented and comfortable in a dynamic regulatory environment.


Qualification

    Bachelors degree in Engineering Environmental Studies Sustainability or Management.

    MBA or sustainability-related certification preferred.


Preferred Experience

    Prior experience in carbon consulting climate advisory ESG or renewable energy sectors.

    Exposure to international clients and carbon transactions is an added advantage.




Required Skills:

Bachelors Degree (Graduation) 1 Year of experience as an Executive Assistant or in a similar role. Strong organizational and multitasking abilities. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Proficiency in MS Office (Word Excel PowerPoint Outlook). Ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism.
