About This Role:

Shipper Highlights

• Drive forklifts and low lift pallet jacks through high trafficked areas with a focus on safe and efficient operation

• Verify and organize wrapped pallets

• Prepare and lane wrapped pallets ensuring they in the correct pallet location

• Load wrapped pallets onto trucks with care and precision

• Maintain a daily productivity count

• Support other departments when necessary as directed by the supervisor

Shipper Requirements

• Conduct operations in a manner which promotes safety and complies with Ontario Safety and Health Act (OSHA) and Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System (WHMIS) standards

• Capable of sitting standing walking climbing stairs and lifting heavy objects throughout shift

• Comfortable in a noisy fast-paced environment and operating forklift in confined areas

• Punctual self-motivated attention to detail and spatially aware of surroundings

• Basic math and PC skills

Shipper Assets

• Completion of High School;

• Experience in a warehouse environment

• Experience with a Warehouse Management System

• Experience operating a forklift or similar machine

• Positive attitude

• Class G2 or higher drivers licence

Friday-Monday 2:30pm - 1:00am

Please note that overnight shifts and working in our cold storage location qualify for hourly premiums further increasing your earning potential.
