HOW YOULL MAKE AN IMPACT
Your Role:
- Dedicated to CT Surgery in collaboration with the surgical team (and others) participates in surgical patients perioperative assessments.
- Assists surgeons (under direction/supervision of the same) during surgical or invasive operative procedures.
- Participates in postoperative rounds and treatments; evaluates patients progress toward obtaining desired outcomes.
- Assess patients and/or family members knowledge level; provides appropriate education to same.
- Performs miscellaneous duties not expressly described herein.

- RN Registered Nurse/Nurse Manager (JC: 031001)
Supervises:
WHAT YOULL NEED TO APPLY
Required Education:
- Associate degree in nursing.
- Successful completion of a Registered Nurse First Assistant (RNFA) program accredited by the Association of periOperative Registered Nurses (AORN).
Preferred Education:
- Bachelors degree in nursing.
Required Experience:
- Two (2) years of perioperative registered nursing experience.
Preferred Experience:
- Two (2) years of perioperative first assistance experience.
Required Certification/License/Registry:
- Licensed as a registered nurse (RN) in accordance with Florida Statutes (F.S.) Title XXXII (Regulation of Professions and Occupations) Chapter 464 (Nursing) Part I (Nurse Practice Act) includes multistate compact licensure.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from an American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red Cross (ARC) certified instructor.
Preferred Certification/License/Registry:
- One or more of the following:
- Certified Nurse Operating Room (CNOR) credential from AORN.
- Registered Nurse Assistant at Surgery (RNAS-C) credential from the National Assistant at Surgery Certification (NASC).
- Certified Registered Nurse First Assistant (CRNFA) credential from NASC.
