Our client in the Information Technology and Services industry is looking for an experienced Infrastructure Networking Engineer with extensive Google Kubernetes Engine (GKE) expertise to support a comprehensive review of an existing GKE implementation. This role is critical in assessing architecture security operations and cost efficiency to ensure the platform is robust scalable and aligned with best practices.
What you will do:
- Conduct a detailed review of the customers existing GKE environment across all key technical dimensions.
- Assess cluster architecture and tenancy models to ensure scalability resilience and appropriate isolation.
- Review networking and connectivity design to validate performance reliability and security.
- Evaluate security controls configurations and compliance with best practices.
- Review operational processes monitoring and observability to support effective day-to-day management.
- Assess automation and CI/CD pipelines to improve efficiency and reliability of deployments.
- Review cost management and billing practices to identify optimisation opportunities.
- Evaluate testing approaches to ensure platform stability and quality.
- Produce clear findings and recommendations to improve the overall GKE implementation.
Qualifications :
- Proven hands-on experience with Google Kubernetes Engine (GKE) with extensive depth in design and operations.
- Strong knowledge of Kubernetes cluster architecture networking and security.
- Experience reviewing and optimising cloud-native platforms across operations automation and cost management.
- Ability to work independently and deliver structured assessments and recommendations.
- Eligibility for BPSS clearance.
