Job Summary
Join our professional housekeeping team as a Porter/Houseperson. Your essential daily responsibilities will include:
- Efficiently collecting and managing linens from guest rooms
- Maintaining cleanliness throughout the property by properly disposing of waste
- Transporting linens to and from the laundry facility ensuring proper stock levels in the supply room
- Organizing and managing the supply room to support Guest Room attendants in their duties
- Contributing to the overall guest experience by maintaining a clean and well-organized environment
- Collaborating with the housekeeping team to ensure smooth operations and high standards of cleanliness
This position requires physical stamina attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and organization in our hotel.
Qualifications :
To be successful in this role candidates must possess the following qualifications:
- Physical strength to lift and move up to 100 pounds
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods throughout the entire shift
- Knowledge of proper handling and usage of cleaning chemicals and supplies
- Physical dexterity to perform tasks requiring reaching bending squatting and twisting
- Willingness to obtain and maintain any necessary licenses or certifications as required by the position
