The Location

Heritage Lodge a 103 bed residential aged care facility located in Murwillumbah in the Tweed Shire 13km south of the Queensland by homely comforts and beautiful gardens we enjoy a close-knit community that feels more like a family.

The Role

Part time role available. Flexibility to work across a variety of Morning Afternoon and Night duty shifts highly regarded.

As a Personal Care Worker youll provide assistance to our residents ensuring they are supported with services and activities that are centred around their wellbeing independence interests and choices.

To provide high quality safe and timely contemporary personal care; assisting with the functions of daily living according to the individual needs of residents.
Support and care for residents as they age and assisting them to maintain their independence and live with dignity self-determination and comfort.
Assist the resident with self-care needs safe mobility and transfers and complete documentation.

Ensuring an effective and consumer focused care and service delivery for all residents

To be successful you will have:

Certificate III in Aged Care or Individual support
Experience in aged care role
Flexibility to cover additional leave shifts (highly desirable)
Valid working rights in Australia (Passport Birth Certificate etc)
NDIS Worker Screen (or willingness to obtain)
