Position Summary
The Liquid Mix Batch Maker is responsible for safely and accurately mixing liquid epoxy products according to batch tickets and production schedules. This role involves operating automatic and manual mixing equipment measuring raw materials performing quality control checks and maintaining a safe and organized production environment while following all company safety and chemical handling policies.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Read and follow daily production schedules and batch ticket instructions
Measure and weigh liquid raw materials using automated and manual equipment
Operate and monitor liquid mixing equipment to ensure proper blending and cycle times
Transfer mixed product to appropriate containers tanks or packaging lines
Collect samples and perform quality control testing per specification sheets
Clean flush and maintain mixing tanks hoses pumps and related equipment
Operate forklifts pallet jacks and other material-handling equipment
Load and unload raw materials and finished goods
Maintain accurate production batch and QC documentation
Monitor equipment performance and report malfunctions immediately
Communicate any quality safety or process concerns to supervisors or management
Follow all PPE requirements including chemical-resistant gloves safety glasses steel/composite toe boots and respirators as required
Maintain a clean safe and organized work environment
Assist operators and team members as directed by supervisors
Perform additional duties as assigned
Key Competencies & Physical Requirements
Ability to read write and comprehend English
Basic math skills (ratios measurements and conversions)
Strong attention to detail and accuracy
Ability to work independently and in a team environment
Reliable and safety-focused
Ability to stand walk bend reach and climb frequently
Ability to lift up to 100 lbs
Education & Experience
Manufacturing experience: 3 years (preferred)
Liquid Mixing / Batch Making experience: 2 years (required)
Epoxy resin or chemical mixing experience: Preferred
