A well-resourced primary school in Ealing is seeking an enthusiastic SEN Teaching Assistant to work within their resource provision unit. This role is ideal for candidates who are passionate about supporting pupils with complex learning communication and social needs and want to make a tangible difference in an inclusive setting.
You will support pupils across Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2 with needs including Autism SEMH challenges ADHD speech and language difficulties and moderate learning difficulties. Support will be delivered through a combination of 1:1 support small group interventions and classroom assistance.
This school has a strong inclusive ethos and provides a calm structured environment for pupils with SEN. The resource provision unit is well-organised and supported by an experienced SENCo teaching staff and therapists. Staff work collaboratively to implement individualised support plans and track pupil progress.
The school also prioritises professional development offering regular training in SEN strategies behaviour management and therapeutic approaches.
Support pupils in the resource provision unit and mainstream classrooms
Deliver targeted interventions and structured learning activities
Support communication social and emotional development
Implement strategies outlined in EHCPs and support plans
Promote independence confidence and positive behaviour
Assist with transitions between learning environments
Record observations and contribute to SEN reviews
Work collaboratively with teachers SENCo and external professionals
Experience supporting pupils with SEN preferably in resource provision
