We are looking for a Strategic Finance Associate to join our Revenue & Strategy function at an exciting stage of growth. Reporting directly to the Chief Revenue Officer this role sits at the heart of our commercial decision-making and acts as the analytical bridge between Business Intelligence Finance and Go-To-Market teams.
Youll turn operational and commercial data into forward-looking financial insight helping the business improve revenue predictability investment prioritisation and long-term growth planning. Working closely with the CRO CFO and senior leadership youll play a key role in shaping how we forecast plan and scale revenue in a fast-moving UK EdTech environment.
What were looking for
Experience & qualifications
Qualified Accountant (ACA ACCA or equivalent)
36 years experience in FP&A commercial finance or strategy roles
Background in SaaS EdTech or PE-backed environments strongly preferred
Technical & analytical skills
Advanced financial modelling and Excel skills
Experience with SQL and/or BI tools (desirable not essential)
Strong PowerPoint skills with the ability to translate complex data into compelling senior-ready narratives
Commercial mindset
Strong understanding of SaaS revenue and GTM metrics (ARR NRR CAC LTV churn pipeline)
Intellectually curious with a structured problem-solving approach
Confident challenging assumptions and influencing non-finance stakeholders

High attention to detail with strong planning and organisational skills
Calm under pressure able to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
What youll be responsible for
Revenue forecasting & insight
Build and maintain a unified revenue forecasting model across new business upsell and renewals
Develop a rolling 12-month revenue forecast continually refining assumptions and accuracy
Run monthly forecast reviews and variance analysis with the CRO and BI Lead
Integrate core SaaS metrics (ARR NRR CAC LTV churn pipeline) into forecasting frameworks
Strategic modelling & decision support
Build scenario and sensitivity models to test strategic pricing and market assumptions
Evaluate and quantify the ROI of commercial and product initiatives
Support strategic pricing segmentation and go-to-market planning with robust commercial modelling
Partner with CRO and Product teams on investment prioritisation
Data reporting & stakeholder partnership
Work closely with BI Systems and Finance to ensure data integrity and consistent definitions
Deliver clear visual analysis for senior leadership and the board
Produce concise data-driven commentary explaining performance trends and forecast movements
Support board packs investor updates and financial planning cycles
Help embed a data-led culture across Sales Marketing and Adoption teams through accessible insight
