Job Summary
Must have: (candidates without these skills will not be considered for the role)PALSBLS2 YEARS OF EXPERIENCE -Two years of Pediatric Critical Care Experience RequiredCongenital Heart Surgery Experience required Preferred Skills/Advanced Skills Needed: (candidates with these skills will be considered first) Experience with the following: Critical Care Management of: Disease processes (respiratory illnesses sepsis DKA)Pressure lines (primarily CVPs arterial lines some UAC/UVC)Ventilated patients (HFOV VDR Servo)Drips (epi nor-epi milrinone dopamine precedex ) Complex trauma patients (EVDs Codmans neuro assessments)Complex pediatric postop patients (congenital anomalies/craniofacial tracheostomies etc.) Specialty/Unit Certifications Required: (RN)ACTIVE TX RN LICENSE temp license will NOT be accepted Procedures performed on unit: Foley insertions trans-pyloric feeding tubes dressing changes (wound and CVL) port access etc. Patient Experience Required:Two years of management of pediatric critical care patients in high acuity setting.
