Spotsylvania County Public Schools is seeking student-focused dedicatedParaeducatorsto assist teachers and other professional practitionersby providing instructional support inclassrooms for the 2026-2027 School Year.

Essential Job Functions:

• Assists students with the organization and completion of daily work assignments
• Assists with evaluating and testing students
• Works with small groups of students in various subject areas
• Follows established procedures for monitoring student behavior when supervising small or large groups
• Monitors students whereabouts and observe student safety
• Performs routine clerical duties such as copying typing answering/making telephone calls and basic troubleshooting
• Performs additional non-instructional duties including but not limited to cafeteria duty bus duty hall duty and office duty

Education and Experience:

• High School Diploma or GED
• A minimum of two (2) years working with children within an instructional educational or related setting
