About the position
Reporting to the Coordinator (MAPP) the role is responsible for assisting in the delivery of technical support services across both teaching and research laboratories (where capacity allows) in Anatomy Physiology and Pharmacology.
This role assists in overseeing and maintaining the day-to-day operational functions of teaching laboratories and workspaces and provides technical support to teaching activities. It also assists by providing advice to laboratory and workspace users to ensure safety compliance and legislative requirements and procedures are followed.
This role works closely with several stakeholders including the teaching academics Infrastructure and Operations the Health Safety and Environment and Information Services teams supporting the area. It also contributes to shared services as provided by the FTS team consistent with service expectations as determined by either the Coordinator or the Senior Coordinator of Facilities and Technical Services team (Science).
It is an essential requirement to support classes as timetabled; flexibility is required for this role as some classes may start and/or finish outside the regular working hours of 8am-6pm.
