Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Speech Therapist / Pathologist for one of our top high end client in B-17 IsalamabadPakistan.. This role is critical in diagnosing treating and managing communication and swallowing disorders across diverse age groups with a strong emphasis on culturally competent care. The ideal candidate will possess bilingual proficiency in Arabic and English enabling effective patient engagement and family collaboration in a multicultural setting. Reporting to the Clinical Director the Speech Therapist will work closely with multidisciplinary healthcare teams to deliver individualized therapeutic interventions monitor patient progress and contribute to comprehensive care plans. Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive assessments of speech language voice fluency and swallowing disorders in pediatric adult and geriatric populations.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on patient evaluations and clinical goals.
- Provide evidence-based therapeutic interventions to improve communication articulation language development and swallowing function.
- Maintain accurate up-to-date patient records in compliance with clinical and regulatory standards.
- Collaborate with physicians nurses occupational therapists and other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated care.
- Educate patients and families on communication strategies home exercises and disease management.
- Utilize specialized assessment tools and technology to track patient progress and adjust treatment plans accordingly.
- Participate in team meetings case reviews and quality improvement initiatives.
- Ensure adherence to ethical legal and professional standards in clinical practice.
- Promote a patient-first culture through empathy cultural sensitivity and effective bilingual communication (Arabic and English).
Requirements
- Bachelors or Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology or a related field from an accredited institution.
- Valid certification and licensure to practice as a Speech Therapist / Pathologist in the UAE or equivalent jurisdiction.
- Minimum of 13 years of clinical experience in a healthcare or rehabilitation setting.
- Fluency in both Arabic and English (written and spoken) with the ability to communicate effectively with diverse patient populations.
- Strong interpersonal and patient engagement skills with demonstrated empathy and cultural competence.
- Proficiency in using electronic medical records (EMR) and clinical documentation systems.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team in a fast-paced clinical environment.
- Commitment to ongoing professional development and continuing education.
