Don Wood Toyota is looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Accounts Payable Clerk to join our friendly and fast-paced office team. This role is ideal for someone who takes pride in accuracy enjoys working behind the scenes to keep operations running smoothly and values being part of a supportive workplace.
Responsibilities:
- Play a key role in maintaining the financial health of the dealership by ensuring accounts payable are processed accurately and on time
- Support the accounting department with daily operations and special projects
- Build and maintain positive relationships with vendors and internal departments
- Help keep financial records organized complete and audit-ready
- Contribute to a team-oriented environment by assisting with various office needs
Job Requirements:
Duties:
- Review code and enter vendor invoices with precision and care
- Prepare and process checks and electronic payments
- Reconcile vendor statements and assist in resolving discrepancies
- Match invoices to purchase orders and supporting documentation
- Maintain organized digital and physical filing systems
- Perform additional accounting and administrative tasks as assigned
Qualifications:
- Prior accounting experience required (automotive experience is a plus)
- Strong attention to detail with a commitment to accuracy
- Ability to manage multiple tasks in a deadline-driven environment
- Comfortable using accounting software and standard office programs
