JOB TYPE: Nights - FT night shift charge nurse work 3 nights per week every other weekend minimally 1 major holiday 1 - 2 minor holidays

HOW YOULL CONTRIBUTE
Charge Nurse Position Summary
The Charge Nurse is responsible for leading and supporting nursing staff in the delivery of high-quality safe and compliant patient care. This role includes clinical mentorship documentation oversight and coordination of staff assignments based on patient needs. Demonstrates leadership capabilities and a commitment to nursing excellence.
Experience in clinical teaching and quality improvement is strongly preferred.
A Registered Nurse (RN) who excels in this role:
Accurately performs patient assessments and identifies patient needs
Identifies and initiates appropriate nursing interventions
Provides care appropriate to condition and age of the patient
Performs timely and appropriate documentation relating to medical necessity in the medical record
Responsible for completion and revision of the Interdisciplinary Care Plan for each patient
Performs timely and accurate QI assessments

WHAT WERE LOOKING
Education: Graduate of an accredited registered nurse program; BSN preferred.
Experience: Minimum of two years in a rehabilitative or acute care setting with demonstrated leadership ability.
License: Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse.
Certifications: Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) required; Child and Adult Abuse Certification required; CRRN preferred.
