JOB SUMMARY:

The primary responsibility of the runner is to expedite all food orders taken by the bartenders and food servers to the guest quickly. The food runner is responsible for maintaining a genuine cheerful demeanor while always representing the Caesars brand positively.

HOW YOU WILL CREATE THE EXTRAORDINARY

Serve food in a timely manner.

Ensure food order is correct before serving the guests.

Monitor tables closely and be attentive to guests needs.

Describe in detail the preparation methods and ingredients of all the menu items.

Carry multiple dishes (up to 3 at one time) in one hand without tray service.

Passionately informs guests about Gordon Ramsay his history and current business endeavors.

Refresh flatware after each course or upon guest request.

Maintain a clean and organized work area/station.

Ensure work area/station is clean and stocked at all times.

Ability to work from a standing position for extended periods of time.

WHAT YOU WILL NEED

Work requires 6 months previous food server / running experience.

Work requires effective communication in English both verbal and written form in a professional manner.

Must present a neat and professional appearance.

Work requires interactions with customers the public and co-workers.

Work requires teamwork with other staff members.

Extensive knowledge of food and beverage products.

Ability to perform basic/intermediate math skills.

Ability to read write and understand English.

Ability to communicate effectively and establish and maintain effective working relationships with guests staff and management.

Knowledge understanding and compliance of policies and procedures job descriptions daily memorandums chemical labels and other instructions.

PHYSICAL MENTAL AND ENVIRONMENTAL DEMANDS:

Requires standing and walking continuously with a tray up to 20lbs throughout the shift.

Must be able to lift and carry 20lbs.

Must be able to work in extreme heat during the summer months.

Must be able to stand for entire shift.

Must be able to access service area when picking up beverage orders.

Must be able to converse over the telephone in an environment with loud background noise.

Must be able to stop bend and reach.

Must have the manual dexterity required to write drink orders prepare drinks and garnishes and beverage orders.

Must be able to listen and respond to visual and aural cues.

Must be able to simultaneously handle the demands of many customers.
