Job Summary

We are looking for a part time Data Protection/ Governance Administrator for a 15 month contract. The part time hours for this role will be 22.2 hours per week and in this role you will be required to support the Data Protection Officer with the coordination of the response to Subject Access Requests and any Data Breach investigations and ensure we have appropriate agreements in place with other organisations such as Data Sharing Agreements. Your line manager is the Head of Governance and Assurance/ Company Secretary.

What youll be doing

  • Assist the Data Protection Officer with Subject Access Request requests and Data Breach/Data Protection administration.
  • Assist the Data Protection Officer with the co-ordination and record keeping of Data Sharing Agreements with third parties Data Privacy Impact Assessment and the updating of the Privacy Notice as required.
  • Support the Data Protection Officer with the organising and management of the GDPR/Data Protection Project Group.
  • Assist the Data Protection Officer with the updating of the GDPR/Data Protection training module.
  • Assist the Data Protection Officer with providing guidance to employees in following the suite of Data Protection Policies and procedures.

What we are looking for

  • Evidence of competence in administrative processes/procedures.
  • Good track record in maintaining data/record systems and developing knowledge of further applications.
  • Excellent IT skills with experience of using MS office including Word and Excel.
  • Confident organiser.
  • Ability to use own initiative.

This post is part time working 22.2 hours per week this equates to 3 full days we do have flexibility as to what these 3 days are however would prefer they are done in a block of 3 continuous days.

Please note the office expectancy of this role is as follows: This role is flexible and will require you to be in the office the first couple of days for training and then the office requirement is around 2 days a month or when required.

  • 22.2 hours per week - employees may be able to work flexibly by agreement with their line manager taking account of business need. We operate a hybrid working policy at CHP.
