About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Electrician for a contract-to-hire opportunity with long-term this role you will be responsible for installing maintaining inspecting and repairing electrical wiring equipment and fixtures to ensure safe and reliable facility operations. This position is ideal for a hands-on professional who takes pride in quality workmanship safety and problem-solving.
Key Responsibilities
Install maintain test and repair electrical wiring conduit equipment and fixtures.
Measure cut bend and install wire and conduit using hand tools and measuring instruments.
Inspect electrical systems for loose connections worn components or damaged insulation and make necessary repairs.
Disassemble defective electrical equipment replace worn or damaged parts and reassemble equipment.
Perform semi-skilled and unskilled labor duties related to electrical installation maintenance and repair.
Maintain tools vehicles equipment parts and supplies in a clean and organized manner.
Follow all safety standards and procedures to maintain a safe work environment.
Required Skills & Competencies
Strong attention to detail and effective problem-solving abilities.
Good interpersonal and communication skills.
Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
Working knowledge of electrical tools machines and equipment including their use repair and maintenance.
Basic understanding of design techniques and the ability to read and interpret technical plans blueprints and drawings.
Education & Experience
High school diploma or GED required.
Technical degree trade school education or electrical certification preferred.
810 years of relevant electrical experience required.
