We are seeking a SWAT Leader Technologist to join our team. This role will involve leading cross-functional technical teams to rapidly respond to and resolve critical production incidents while driving long-term stability through root cause analysis automation and continuous improvement. The ideal candidate will have experience across core programming languages middleware databases integrations and EDI along with a passion for operational excellence and resilient IT ecosystems.

Job Description: The SWAT Leader Technologist will serve as a senior technical leader responsible for managing and resolving Sev-1 and Sev-2 incidents across applications infrastructure middleware and integrations. The SWAT Leader Technologist will view the technology landscape end-to-end ensuring rapid service restoration while minimizing business impact.
In this role the SWAT Leader Technologist will technically lead cross-functional teams during major incidents guiding troubleshooting efforts and determining the most effective resolution paths. The SWAT Leader Technologist will coordinate closely with application infrastructure database and integration teams to ensure seamless collaboration and communication under high-pressure situations.
The SWAT Leader Technologist will conduct deep root cause analysis lead post-incident reviews and ensure lessons learned are transitioned into problem management and permanent fixes. Additionally the SWAT Leader Technologist will contribute to IT strategy by driving automation self-healing capabilities and knowledge fabric creation using AI and Gen-AI technologies to prevent recurring issues and improve operational maturity.
Key Responsibilities: -
Lead and manage response to Sev-1 and Sev-2 incidents across the enterprise

Technically guide cross-functional teams during incident troubleshooting and resolution

Coordinate application infrastructure middleware database integration and EDI teams

Perform root cause analysis and drive permanent remediation of recurring issues

Lead post-incident reviews and ensure proper documentation and knowledge sharing

Own chronic and high-impact issues through to permanent resolution

Drive automation self-healing solutions and operational intelligence using AI/Gen-AI

Support Change Incident and Problem Management processes

Provide input into IT strategy resiliency and reliability improvements

Develop and maintain operational runbooks and incident response playbooks

Communicate incident status risks and resolutions to technical and non-technical stakeholders

Mentor and guide teams during high-pressure operational situations
Required Skills & Experience: -
Bachelor s or Master s degree with 10 years of experience in the healthcare payer domain

Strong experience with core programming languages middleware databases integrations and EDI

Deep understanding of application and infrastructure ecosystems

Experience with ITSM processes and frameworks (ITIL preferred)

Strong leadership skills with the ability to drive decisions under pressure
