This is a remote position.
Were hiring a Pipe Stress Engineer to join a specialized team supporting nuclear engineering projects. This role is ideal for a technically driven engineer with proven experience in pipe stress analysis and familiarity with nuclear quality standards.
- Perform detailed pipe stress analyses using AutoPIPE in accordance with nuclear standards.
- Develop and review MathCAD-based calculations for pipe routing flexibility and load evaluations.
- Interpret isometric drawings and P&IDs to support piping layouts and stress analyses.
- Collaborate with structural engineers to ensure adequate pipe support designs and load transfers.
- Review and verify design documents and calculations to comply with ME 101 ASME and project specifications.
- Bachelors Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
- 5 years of pipe stress analysis experience preferably on nuclear projects.
- Proficient with AutoPIPE MathCAD and interpretation of piping isometrics.
- Working knowledge of NQA-1 QA programs and design verification processes.
- Familiarity with pipe support selection and anchoring techniques in high-spec applications.
- Detail-oriented with the ability to document clearly and communicate technical work.
- Experience supporting design teams and QA reviews across multidisciplinary projects.
