We are seeking to fulfill the role of a Project Director with extensive project management experience to support our client on the delivery of an exciting Offshore project.
Responsibilities:
- Responsible for leading the development and delivery of complex multi Offshore and Packages.
- Accountable for defining developing interfacing and delivering complex multi-package projects safely while managing time budget quality and key performance indicators to ensure successful completion.
- Oversee FEED detailed design and ensuring technical compliance.
- Liaise with the engineering construction and procurement teams to ensure alignment with project objectives and technical requirements.
- Foster sustain and oversee strong relationships with internal key stakeholders and external partners.
- Participate actively in the Health and Safety and Quality initiatives.
- Identity and mitigate project risks and issues to ensure successful project outcomes.
- Assess and identity opportunities for improvement and make suggestions.
- Adopt a proactive approach to risk management and strategies.
- Collaborate as part of the Project Leadership team to enhance the project delivery strategy.
- Conduct regular project reviews and progress meetings with stakeholders to monitor performance and address any issues.
- Ownership for package governance programme risk budget and resource requirements.
Qualifications :
- Bachelors degree or qualification in Engineering /Project Management or equivalent.
- Chartered in a relevant profession/discipline.
- 15 years of demonstrated experience in project management within the Offshore Energy environment managing large scale projects.
- Strong communication negotiation and conflict management skills at management and operational levels.
- Commercial awareness with strong vendor management and compliance skills.
- Experience working with EPC Contracts; FIDIC NEC etc.
- Willingness to travel when required within Ireland.
