We are seeking skilled and dedicated Embroidery Machine Operators and Fulfillment Processors to join our for Business team. The videos below show two of the roles we have available in our Lewiston Manufacturing facility. These videos give a first-hand look at the work we do. You will see the importance of precision safety and working efficiently in a fast-paced environment where you will be on your feet and moving throughout the shift.

Join our Manufacturing team in Brunswick Maine and help create one of the most legendary products in outdoor historythe Maine Hunting Shoe trusted by adventurers for over a century. While most positions will focus on stitching for the Maine Hunting Shoe a small number of hires will join our Boat and Tote stitching line.Werehiring stitchers and packers to bring these heritage products to life. Shift Availability

  • 1st Shift: MonFri 6:00 AM2:30 PM

  • 2nd Shift: MonFri 2:45 PM11:15 PM

  • 3rd Shift: Sun9:00 PM6:00 AM Mon-Thu 11:00 PM6:00 AM (35-hourweek)

WhatYoullDo

  • Prep and stitch leather components for theMaine Hunting Shoeusing post or flat sewing machines; a smallportionof hires will work on theBoat and Tote stitching lineworking withcanvas material.

  • Inspect products for completeness accuracy and quality cleaningexcess cement dirt andclippingthreadsas needed.

  • Ensureall line items (thread components hang tags etc.) are correct.

  • Pack products into proper containers labelingcartons for warehousing.

  • Fix issues whenidentified provide feedback topeers and alert QA if trends are noted.

  • Verify FD labels tags and shipping cartonsmeetcriteria for Freeport partners Returns and Outlet stores.

  • Partner with QA liaison for reports and feedbackand with Engineering for process improvements.

  • Perform other related duties as assigned.

Physical Demands

  • Sitting/Standing:Some workstations are adjustable for sit/stand; expect frequent static posture and continuous use of foot controls. Standing 2050% sitting 5080% minimal walking on concrete floors with anti-fatigue mats.

  • Lifting/Carrying: Occasional lifting of totes or materials up to 30lbs(Shearling) and 15lbs(Core/Closing); short carries (1030 ft) when moving totes or racks.

  • Hand/Arm Use: Continuous grasping and pinching; frequent fine manipulation for stitching and trimming threads; repetitive wrist and neck movementsfor precision work.

  • Other Movements: Occasional bending squatting and reaching below knees; no climbing or kneeling. Push/pull forces up to 15lbswhen moving carts or racks.
