Job Summary

Howard Memorial is looking fora Maintenance Tech.
This is a full-time hourly with benefits position.

All work and related duties are to be performed in compliance with local and state codes.

Responsibilities:

Operates and maintains equipment such as boilers air compressors generators and refrigeration equipment
Records data (temperature hours of operation fuel consumption water levels chemicals water titration etc) reading dials gauges and manuals
Performs preventative maintenance of equipment as required using hand and power tools and conducting periodic safety inspections
Performs quarterly Fire Drills and Active Shooter Drills for 3-11 shift
Makes rounds (rooftop out buildings) repairs light bulbs ceiling tiles other issues and records data

Qualifications

High School Diploma or equivalent
2 years vocational school and/or similar trade
Other vocational or similar trade licensures preferred
Previous maintenance experience preferred
Ability to read written instructions and labels
US Citizen or Green Card holder
