Position Summary

Our jobs arent just about stocking shelves and cleaning up after service. We aim to create a memorable and seamless experience for our guests and as a Barback you play a vital role in supporting the bar team to deliver exceptional service. From ensuring the bar is fully stocked and organized to assisting bartenders during busy periods you help keep operations running smoothly so every guest enjoys their time with us.

No matter your position a few things are critical to success creating a safe workplace following company policies and procedures upholding quality standards and ensuring your uniform personal appearance and communication are professional. Doing all these things well (and other reasonable duties as requested) is essential for Barbacks to get it right for our guests and our business every time.

Responsibilities: Your journey with us

  • Supporting bartenders by maintaining stock levels of beverages garnishes glassware and bar tools throughout service.
  • Ensuring cleanliness and organization of the bar area storage spaces and back bar at all times.
  • Assisting with preparation tasks such as cutting garnishes restocking ice and setting up stations before service.
  • Proactively learning about bar operations beverage offerings and service standards to better assist the team.
  • Maintaining up-to-date knowledge of company Food & Beverage Safety Programs within your area of responsibility as well as all local state and federal regulations.
  • Reporting maintenance or equipment issues immediately to appropriate personnel (management or maintenance).
  • Demonstrating a positive professional attitude grooming and body language at all times.
  • Attending departmental meetings and training sessions as required to stay informed and aligned.
  • Carrying out other duties as required by the Bar or F&B Management team.

    Qualifications

  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in a similar role within the hospitality industry preferably in a luxury hotel or upscale bar environment.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to interact effectively at all levels.
  • Detail-oriented with a passion for delivering excellence in guest service.
  • Knowledge of overall hotel operations is beneficial to understand your role in the wider guest experience.
