Job Summary
- Gain first-hand and in-depth understanding of power markets and related commodities with a focus on renewable energy and learn the fundamentals of energy trading
- Support trading activities with analysis of key market factors which will allow for a better decision making on a daily basis
- Strengthen our valuation of battery energy storage systems with analysis of revenue streams risks and portfolio effects
- Build out our tool landscape to manage the portfolio of power and other commodities including automation of reporting and data management processes
Qualifications :
- Currently studying or recently received a degree in either Economics Mathematics Finance Engineering or other relevant analytical field of study and available for a 6-month internship
- Excellent quantitative and analytical skills
- Proficiency with data analysis/data science in Excel and Python
- Interest in the renewables and power market
- High level of motivation structured way of working and ability to get things done
- Ability to communicate ideas clearly
- Fluency in English
- Understanding of power markets an advantage but not required
