Brattleboro Memorial Hospital is seeking a full-time Staff MD OB/GYN to join its hospital-owned Four Seasons OB/GYN practice in Brattleboro Vermont offering full-spectrum womens health care in a collaborative physician-respected community-based environment with flexible scheduling and excellent quality of Description:The Staff OB/GYN Physician will:Provide full-spectrum obstetrics and gynecology care to a diverse community patient populationManage gynecologic consults referred from surrounding primary care providers and in-house midwivesPerform a variety of office-based gynecologic proceduresMaintain a steady surgical volume with access to three new operating roomsParticipate in minimally invasive and advanced laparoscopic surgeriesWork 34 clinic days per week seeing approximately 1214 patients per dayUtilize an average of three dedicated OR days per monthProvide physician backup for midwife-led obstetric care including uncomplicated deliveriesParticipate in manageable home call shared among physicians (1 in 4 rotation)Support a birth center offering VBACs water birth nitrous oxide and 24-hour epidural servicesCollaborate within a multidisciplinary team of physicians certified nurse midwives nurse practitioners nurses and medical assistantsPractice evidence-based OB/GYN care in a state with constitutional protection of reproductive rightsEngage in a long-standing stable practice with very low staff and physician turnoverNot open to candidates who commute more than 1 hourNot accepting visa candidatesNot open to LOCUM or LOCUM to PERM candidatesNot open to candidates who plan to work this job in conjunction with another positionCERTIFICATION REQUIREMENTSBoard CertifiedBoard EligibleSTATE LICENSE REQUIREMENTSVermontADDITIONAL LICENSE REQUIREMENTSMD or DO degree Completion of an ACGME-accredited OB/GYN residency program in the United States or Canada
