Job Summary
Job Description:
As a Software Engineer at Western Lowbeds you will be responsible for developing and maintaining software solutions to support specialized and superload transportation nationwide. Your role will involve working closely with the team to design implement and test software applications that meet the unique needs of our clients.
Job Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define design and ship new features
- Develop high-quality software design and architecture
- Identify prioritize and execute tasks in the software development life cycle
- Debug and optimize existing code
- Ensure software meets quality standards and is delivered on time
- Maintain and improve existing software systems
Essential Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science or related field
- Proven work experience as a Software Engineer
- Strong knowledge of software development processes
- Proficiency in one or more programming languages such as Java C or Python
- Excellent problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment
Desired Experience:
- Experience with transportation or logistics software development
- Knowledge of cloud technologies such as AWS or Azure
- Familiarity with version control systems (e.g. Git)
