Job Summary
Summary of Position:
The Vista a neighborhood restaurant known for its warm atmosphere and locally inspired cuisine is seeking a reliable and hardworking Dishwasher to join our team. As a Dishwasher you will play a vital role in maintaining the cleanliness and efficiency of our kitchen ensuring a seamless dining experience for our guests.
Duties & Responsibilities:
Wash and sanitize dishes glassware utensils and kitchen equipment.
Maintain a clean and organized dishwashing area including sinks and storage spaces.
Assist with basic kitchen prep and cleaning tasks as needed.
Ensure proper disposal of waste and recycling in accordance with health regulations.
Support the kitchen team by maintaining a steady supply of clean tools and equipment.
Follow all safety and sanitation guidelines to uphold our high standards.
Job Qualifications:
Experience:
No previous restaurant experience required.
Requirements:
Must be able to communicate clearly and professionally with managers kitchen and dining room personnel.
Be able to reach bend stoop and frequently lift up to 30 pounds.
Ability to work in a standing position for long periods of time (up to 9 hours).
Ability to work in hot wet humid and loud environment for long period of time
Must maintain personal hygiene in accordance to DHEC and company standards.
Punctuality and regular reliable attendance with a positive attitude.
