Role Specifics and Benefits: As a Travel Physical Therapy Assistant youll support Physical Therapy teams in delivering comprehensive rehabilitation services. Key responsibilities include conducting therapeutic exercises and mobility training under the supervision of licensed PTs; implementing treatment plans gait training transfer training balance and strength activities neuromuscular re-education and pain management modalities; accurately documenting patient progress outcomes and any changes to the plan of care; communicating with PTs and care coordinators to optimize discharge planning and follow-up; educating patients and families on home exercise programs safety strategies and activity modification; and ensuring safety infection control and compliance with regulatory standards. The role offers professional growth through exposure to orthopedics neuro rehab geriatric care and pediatric settings with opportunities to develop specialty skills mentorship and continuing education aligned with your career goals. We provide competitive compensation with a weekly pay range of $1600-$1712 guaranteed hours of 40 per week starting 12/26/2025 for a contract lasting several weeks with clear extension opportunities if you wish to continue your addition to base pay youll have access to a sign-on bonus in some placements housing assistance to ease transitions and the ability to extend contracts to gain broader experience. Comprehensive support is a hallmark of our program including 24/7 assistance for travelers dedicated travel coordinators and a robust network of on-site and remote resources to troubleshoot clinical logistical and personal needs as they arise.
