Supports clinical operations by direct involvement with the physicians and advanced-level practitioners in the performance of a wide variety of administrative and clerical tasks. There is daily involvement in resolving administrative concerns managing system access handling facility requests and reconciling medical billing.
General Responsibilities:
- Pulls various reports such as legal reports schedules and historical data.
- Facilitates provider onboarding to include but not limited to system access computer-based training schedule system training and quality (MIPS) training.
- Responsible for daily provider medical billing reconciliation.
- Responsible for setting up observers to shadow physicians and advanced-level practitioners.
- Works with the Medical Staff Office for access approval and badging.
- Takes and relays phone messages to the respective person or department in a clear and concise manner.
- Assists with managing the physicians calendars and coordinating meetings.
- Maintains complete and up-to-date documentation and files.
- Travels to the other facilities as needed for various projects and needs.
- Coordinate various annual competency evaluations.
- Other duties as assigned.
Education/Competencies:
- High School Diploma required Associates Degree or greater preferred.
- Knowledge of medical terminology and billing gained through experience or formal coursework.
- Excellent customer service interpersonal oral and written communication skills.
- Strong computer skills working knowledge of Microsoft products.
- Typing competency with the ability to format spell punctuate edit and proofread typed copy.
- Ability to transcribe verbal or handwritten correspondence.
- Must have strong organizational skills to perform multiple activities simultaneously.
Pay Range: $19.00 - $25.00 hourly
