Responsibilities
- Assess all new admissions determining appropriateness for Registered Nurse delegation in accordance with the Nurse Practice Act
- Ensure thorough and timely documentation of all care provided throughout the nursing department
- Ensure thorough assessment of patients and completion of necessary follow up as applicable
- Ensure thorough monitoring of patients
- Provide supervision support guidance and development of staff members
- Ensure adherence to administrative processes within the nursing department
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
- Valid Texas Registered Nurse (RN) License in good standing
- 3 years of experience preferred
- Ability to work effectively with patients families stakeholders and team members
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to interact effectively with patients and team members
- Pass all pre-employment and employment verifications
