Storage Ceph Engineer

Job Description:

As a Storage Ceph Engineer you will be responsible for designing deploying and optimizing large-scale distributed storage solutions. You will play a critical role in ensuring the reliability and performance of our storage clusters troubleshooting complex issues and implementing automated scaling strategies to support our rapidly expanding global user base and data requirements.

What you will do:

- Architect and maintain highly available Ceph storage clusters across multiple regions.

- Monitor system performance and proactively tune configurations for optimal throughput and latency.

- Develop automation scripts for cluster deployment management and disaster recovery processes.

The ideal candidate:

- Extensive experience managing production-grade Ceph clusters in a Linux environment.

- Proficiency in automation and scripting languages such as Python Bash or Ansible.

- Strong understanding of networking protocols and distributed systems architecture.
