The Summer Intern Research will conduct research focused on drinking water quality. This position involves field sampling laboratory analysis and the application of data analysis methods to assess the chemistry of water samples providing valuable insights into water quality management.

Required Skills & Qualifications
| Required Experience: |
| Previous laboratory experience including working with analytical instruments and conducting tests. |
| Basic understanding of water chemistry and water quality monitoring. |
| Minimum Education Requirements: |
| Must be currently enrolled fulltime in an undergraduate or graduate program |
| Must have at least 30 credit hours complete |
| Must have a minimum 3.0 grade point average |
| Required Skills: |
| Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. |
| Strong data analysis skills including the ability to interpret complex data sets. |
| Required Licenses & Certifications: |
| Not applicable |
| Physical Requirements: |
| Fieldwork involving outdoor water sampling and laboratory work with analytical equipment. |
Preferred Skills & Qualifications
| Preferred Experience: |
| Experience in data analysis particularly using statistical tools for water quality data. |
| Experience in conducting research or working in laboratory environments focused on water quality. |
| Preferred Education Requirements: |
| Preferred Major: Environmental Engineering Chemical Engineering Civil Engineering Environmental Science or a related field. |
| Preferred Skills: |
| Proficiency in laboratory techniques and water quality analysis. |
| Familiarity with statistical software for analyzing research data. |
